Product description
The period revolution starts here
Menstrual cups are a breakthrough product, primarily because they are both safer for women and the planet. On average, a woman uses and disposes of over 16,000 disposable sanitary products in her lifetime, which is a burden on the ecology and environment. Menstrual cups, in contrast, are eco-friendly and they last for 5 to 10 years, making them a cost-effective, sustainable alternative.
Besides being sustainable, its comfort factor is something you cannot miss. You don’t need to cancel your usual itinerary, while on your period anymore. Be it swimming lessons, beach days, or dance classes, the comfort of Truecup ensures that it is a leak-proof way to total period comfort.

FEATURES
Choosing your cup size is the most tricky part! Size depends upon the size of the vagina. And to remind you small size means small capacity so you might need to empty it frequently. The consensus will be to start with a small size for teens and move to a medium once sexually active. After birthing medium or large could be used. Small cups are more comfortable. However, it comes with a rider: small cups in a large patulous vagina might not work as effectively as you wish, since small cups won’t be able to produce vaccum seal mechanism. Please go through the guide. TrueCup is available in 3 sizes – Small (S), Medium (M) & Large (L).
PREPARING TO USE TRUECUP
Inserting a menstrual cup is not all that daunting: it’s a fairly easy process, and with practice you become perfect You only need to stay patient and calm. Here’s one handy tip for easy insertion: Lubricate your cup and it will help make the process smoother. Before you put in your cup, lubricate the rim with water or a water-based lube. Here then is a step-by-step guide on how to safely, comfortably, and effectively use a Menstrual cup.
CLEANSING AND STERILIZING YOUR MENSTRUAL CUP
- Remove your Truecup from its packaging and sanitize before your first use.
- Remember menstrual cups should be properly washed and sterilized before and after each cycle.
- While you are on your period, you do not need to sterilize your menstrual cup each time you empty it. A simple cleaning with warm water or Senziwash Menstrual Cup wash will be enough.
- Make sure you clean out the tiny holes just below the rim of the menstrual cup. These are responsible for creating suction so that blood doesn’t leak past the cup.
FEATURES
Sterilize
Disinfect the cup before every period by washing it under running water, and sterilize it by placing it in boiling water for 3mts or using Senziwash Menstrual Cup Sterilizer
Fold & Hold
Take the cup with thoroughly washed hands and fold using the techniques mentioned in the leaflet and hold it firmly between your thumb and forefinger. Have a look at common fold techniques below.
Insert
Make sure you are relaxed and comfortable. Now, gently separate the labia with your free hand and insert the folded cup in the vagina at an angle inclined towards the base of your spine, with the curved edge of the cup facing the vaginal opening.
Remove
After rinsing your hands properly, reach for the stem with your thumb and forefinger, squeeze the base of the cup to release suction, and gently pull it out.
Empty
Empty the cup and rinse it under cold water first to stop any stains from setting in. Follow this up with warm water or use a mild pH-balanced cleanser like Senziwash Menstrual Cup wash before re-inserting.
